Dado el dominio de la escudería Brawn, Mercedes-Benz está considerando añadir su marca corporativa al coche líder del mundial, el BGP001.
Brawn GP hizo uso de la marca de motores este año simplemente como un cliente más, pero tras ganar cuatro de las cinco carreras del campeonato, la situación podría cambiar.
