no, cuando llegas a las competencias de wheelies... he logrado hacer un "wheelie" con un SS, pero lo mas que logro mantenerlo es 200 ft, mientras los demas hacen hasta 500ft. o mas, queria saber si alguien podia compartir su set-up...

En un artículo que hizo IGN podemos ver como son las caracteristicas del apartado online de Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, está opción se activo el 25 de diciembre, por medio de una descarga, como regalo de navidad por parte de Polyphony Digital a los poseedores del juego en Japón.

En las nuevas opciones que aparecen en el juego tras esta actualización, se puede ver una opción que se llama "Ranking" y otra que es "Online".

La opción de Ranking permite ver los tiempos que han marcado jugadores, así como el tipo de neumaticos, transmisión (Automática/Manual), el tipo de coche así como la modalidad en la que corrio ya sea "Standart" o "Profesional" así como un video de la repetición de la mejor vuelta del jugador tal como se podía ver en Gran Turismo HD.

En la opción "Online" al entrar en esta opción, automáticamente nos envia a una pantalla donde podemos seleccionar una carrera para entrar y las opciones disponibles son:

Beginner's race en la pista Daytona Speedway: son tres vueltas contra 8 oponentes y se debe usar autos de clase deportiva.

Mid-level race en la pista de Suzuka: son 2 vueltas usando coches de clase deportiva y es contra 8 personas máximo.

Upper-level race en la pista de Fuji: son 3 vueltas usando coches de clase super auto, la carrera es contra 8 personas máximo.

Upper-level raceen la pista de Fuji: son 3 vueltas , contra un máximo de 16 jugadores aqui todos deben correr con un Lotus Elise 111R en modo profesional y correr con neumaticos tipo S1.

Beginner's time trial at Daytona: esto es para batir records en la pista de Daytona usando coches de clase media.

Mid-level time trial at Eiger: batir records de los jugadores en la pista Eiger usando coches de clase deportiva.

Upper-level time trial at Daytona: aqui también se busca romper el record de usuarios en linea pero está ves usando super autos, con neumaticos tipo S1.

Upper-level time trial in London: aqui se busca también marcar el mejor tiempo record para la pista, pero usando super autos.

Entre las cosas más interesantes que se pueden ver es que las carreras mencionadas anteriormente se van a cambiar el 10 de enero por otros eventos, por lo que podemos ver que los eventos cambian cada cierto tiempo.

También podemos ver que cuando se juega si uno choca a los demás jugadores será penalizado unos segundos, lo mismo sucede cuando se toman atajos en las pistas.

Otra característica nueva sobre el online es que se puede descargar el "coche fantasma" de un jugador que marco record en una pista, así puedes comparar tus tiempos de vuelta, este coche fantasma se puede usar tanto online como offline, algo bueno que se puede ver en esta modalidad online es que no se ve rastro de lag, y que tras entrar a una carrera que no dura mucho podemos accesar a otros eventos rápidamente, aunque las opciones por ahora son limitadas se espera que se mejore la experiencia online.

Yo por ahora solo juego el demo, pero ya probaste cambiarle de camara, que la que trae por default (tele) se ve muy lejos, la verdad que deberia opinar hasta que me traigan el juego, pero es por ánimo de ayudar, jejejeje.

Back in November (http://uk.gamespot.com/news/6182430.html), Sony confirmed that God of War III was in exclusive development for the PlayStation 3 and announced the shock news that game director Cory Barlog had left the company.
His abrupt adieu was shrouded in mystery, although the God of War I and II director has now spoken a little about it on his personal blog (http://corybarlog.blogspot.com/2008/01/welcome-back.html). He writes, "For me, the whole departure from Sony was not exactly the ideal route that I wanted to go, but in the end I think it is the absolute best thing I could ever have done."
Barlog also reveals that he is currently working on several projects, although "I am not going to go into any specifics as to what it is I am working on now, which sucks, but I can say that I am cooking up several things...I thought I would have more to talk about by now, but things are just not quite ready so I will be updating on specifics as they become more solid."
He then assures gamers that despite the fact that he is no longer involved in the God of War series, the game is sure to rock. He comments, "I know for some God of War fans out there it might be a bummer that I am not working on God of War III...but rest assured that it is all in good hands. The Sony Santa Monica team is one of the best teams I have ever worked with." Barlog had also already put in some work on the game, as work started on it as soon as the second title had been finished.
He concludes, "I wish I could have been there to see it through to the end, but it was just not meant to be I guess. The story is going to finish off with a very big, very epic bang though. I think everyone will be quite pleased."

Tengo un amigo q tiene las 2 consolas (360-ps3) y el cuate solo se la pasaba jugando conmigo el de COD4 cuando derepente dejo de conectarse al live, y no hace mucho se conecto y lo salude y le pregunte q onda porq no habia jugado y me respondio q se la pasaba jugando el de UT3 q le gusto mucho y q es bien rapido el gameplay...

Sony insists Home, which will be free, is only “superficially” comparable to Second Life, and it plans to allow developers to integrate their PS3 titles into the service, although details of how are scant at present.

Microsoft could do with some competition in the shooter department and Sony hopes Killzone 2 will be the PS3’s answer. Guerilla says Killzone 2 could only be delivered on Blu-ray - the single player E3 demo level took up 2GB of disc space and featured gorgeous visuals, solid animations and physics, a new first-person cover system and plenty of frantic firefights between the ISA and the Helghast war machine, but whether it can live up to the hype that surrounds it won’t be known until nearer the game’s release, which will be preceded by an open multiplayer beta.

The game will form a third of Square’s Fabula Nova Crystallis - Final Fantasy XIII project, the other two titles being FF Versus XIII and FF Agito XIII. Directed by FFX-2 director Motomu Toriyama, Square’s PS3 RPG epic will draw on the talent of a number of series veterans, feature stronger sci-fi elements than previous FF games and make use of Square’s proprietary White Engine. Set in a futuristic world divided into the floating fortress Cocoon and that which lies beyond its walls, Pulse, gameplay info is still heavily guarded, although sequences shown so far look visually breathtaking.

For Final Fantasy Versus, Tetsuya Nomura is at the helm as game director, and indications suggest he’s creating the darkest FF yet, pushing away from the light magical styles of his previous works such as Kingdom Hearts in favor of a more realistic, bleaker world. The action-oriented Versus will center around a young king battling to defend his kingdom and its crystals, and fans should expect a more visceral, bloody and vicious approach to combat than in previous FF games.

The latest addition to the twelve-year-old, 20 million-plus selling series, which has a habit of attracting casual and hardcore fighting fans, Tekken 6 has already released for arcade machines. For PS3 it will feature online multiplayer and boast the most characters ever included in a Tekken title. Director Katsuhiro Harada has promised to retain the popular elements from Tekken 5 and T5 Dark Resurrection, while increasing the size of multi-tiered battle stages that feature daylight / night time transitions, as well as throwing in a deeper level of character customization that will feature more heavily in gameplay.

While it’s yet to be officially announced, everyone knows a follow-up to Sony’s most hyped PS3 launch title is in the works, and a late 2008 debut is likely considering that Insomniac has released a title for PlayStation platforms late each year since 2002. While confirmed info is non-existent, leaked info suggests that gamers will reprise their role as Nathan Hale and that the title will predominantly be set in the US, featuring levels based in San Francisco, Chicago and Louisiana. Insomniac’s texture streaming work on Ratchet & Clank Future should ensure it’s a gorgeous game.

Sony announced a follow-up to the US, European and Japanese chart topper MotorStorm, which has sold more than 3.31 million units to date worldwide, at 2007’s Tokyo Game Show, along with its acquisition of UK-based developer Evolution Studios. Few details have been made available, but MotorStorm 2 will be powered by a modified version of the engine used for the original, graphically acclaimed title, and fans can expect more of the same mud-stained rally car, big rig, dirt bike, ATV, truck, buggy and mudplugger racing mayhem that made MotorStorm such a thrill to play.

The eighth game in the Tomb Raider series and the third to be developed by Crystal Dynamics, Underworld will follow on from the events of Legend. According to Play magazine it will feature an environment that “reacts and remembers” (Lara leaves footprints in the mud which may be washed away by rain, while dead bodies and debris will stay put), as well as full motion capture for gaming’s first lady to bring a more natural fluidity to her swashbuckling actions. Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune upped the ante, but we think Eidos is up to delivering the first true next-gen Tomb Raider title.

Forward Thinking

The success of SCE’s 2008 software portfolio will either make Sony’s dominance of the last-gen seem even more of a distant memory, or in contrast revitalize its fortunes and make 2007 look merely like a year of transition.

Software, and specifically PS3-exclusive games, is what’s going to drive an increase in SCE’s market share during 2008. The platform holder will be looking to the likes of Metal Gear Solid, LittleBigPlanet and Gran Turismo in the hope of shifting systems, and they are exactly the kind of titles that could convince consumers to take the plunge and jump on the next-gen bandwagon by plumping for a PS3 over its rivals, or prompt the vast number of PS2 users yet to make the transition to move up to Sony’s latest system

ups que significa eso
UPS es la bateria que se usa en las compus para cuando hay apagones (como los de hace unos dias) y te dé tiempo de apagarla, tons se recomienda ponerle uno de esos al PS3 para que cuando haya un corte de energia el PS3 no lo sufra y se apague de manera adecuada.

si no tenes UPS mejor lo desconectas no sea que se te arruine y lastima tu dinero, asi que a comprar un UPS lo mas pronto.

ahi miras que el ups sea para un aparato que consuma por lo menos 500watts por que el play usa 380watts si le pones uno de menos no te sirve de nada el ups

pues solo le pones el cable de red como si fuera compu y a mi solo a si me funciono pero por si a vos no solo te vas a los ajustes en el muenu principal del ps3 y por alli estan los ajustes de red y el ps3 te echa una mano, es facil
