It looks like the bottom has been hit when it comes to the Valley’s car industry.
Car prices are at record lows and dealers are doing everything possible to move cars off their lots.
Power Chrysler Jeep Dodge is offering an incentive to buy a Ram Truck and get either a PT Cruiser or Dodge Calliber for just 99 cents.
Yes, you read that right -- 99 cents.
General Manager Gregg Bassett told us, "Of all the incentives that the manufacturer is offering us, we can pass that on to the consumer, wrap that up in a discount and enable them to get an extra car."
Besides the incentives, car loan interest rates are as low as they've been in years, adding to the car-buying appeal.
Bassett told ABC15, "Business has been tough for the auto dealers recently so we're more motivated than ever to make car deals."
It's not just new cars where deals can be had. Pre-owned dealers are also offering incentives.
Over at
Chapman BMW, it's all about the low interest rate.
General Manager Mathew Dresp said, "You can get rates as low as .09 percent."
Dresp said the reason for that is simple, "A lot of lease returns are coming back so there's a lot of inventory that's out there and BMW is being very aggressive."
Dresp also said banks and credit unions are helping the process along.
In addition to the low interest rates, many are processing loans as quickly as they're coming in.
Dealers said they're willing to haggle with consumers in order for you to get the best deal. So if you're on the fence about whether or not now is the time to buy, Bassett said think about this:
"It's the old law of supply and demand supply is high demand is low so that means prices are lower than ever so come take advantage of them."
