Track and Show Japan 2013 Coverage
 Mori met up with friends early in the am to make the trip over to Fuji Speedway…Pictured is Touma Kaga’s EF on Work Meister RSZ-R…  Gathering at the gas station to fuel up before the drive…  Kohei Taguchi fueling up his ’96-spec Integra Type R…  Taguchi’s Integra features a BYS front bumper and Sprint Hart CP-Rs…  Thank you to Taguchi for supporting The Chronicles in Japan…  Shinji Mayuzumi’s VW Bora with boser hood and aggressive Rotiform NUEs…  One of the coolest cars at the event had to have been this Volkswagen MK2 Jetta…  Another must-see was this NA1 Honda NSX…  Akira Miyata’s Civic coupe from Craft-A… CLICK HERE FOR LARGER VERSION (1400PX)…  Craft-A coupe parked next to the Autostyle Integra Type R in the paddock area…  TE72 Corolla on Volk TE37Vs… One of my favorite Toyota platforms of all time, even more so than the AE86…  Kazuhiro Furakawa from OsakaJDM taking time to answer questions about his E-AT…  Imagine seeing that face in your rear-view mirror…  Spotless MK1 Golf…  MK2 Jetta and MK1 Golf together, both styled very differently…  Furakawa on the track at Fuji Speedway…  Cool capture of the EJ coupe and Integra… LARGER VERSION HERE (1400PX)  BMW F10 M5 seeing some action at Fuji Speedway…  There was rain throughout the day and one of the casualties at Track and Show was this EG hatchback…  Another track-bred EJ1 Civic coupe…  Interesting to see a Mugen CRX PRO.2 front bumper on an EF hatchback… Hopefully he knows his hood is popped. Either that or it just fits poorly, haha…  BMW E46 M3 coupe on BBS LM…  The front wheel looking mildly tweaked on Kazuhiro’s Civic…  Battle scars on the Burn-Up front bumper of the NA1 NSX…  MK5 GTI race car…  Not really sure what model Volkswagen this is, but it definitely isn’t a model we get here. Cool looking car though, maybe someone can jump in and elaborate….  Rear angle of the Craft-A EJ1…  Bright green accents on the Autostyle R…   A couple more of the Burn-Up NSX on Advan Racing RS… LARGER VERSION (1400PX)  Lined-up for the next session… LARGER VERSION (1400PX)  One more of Kohei Taguchi’s Integra…  A few more of the Burn-Up NA1… LARGER VERSION (1400PX)  The paddock at Fuji Speedway…  Latching down the carbon hood of the Craft-A Civic…  OsakaJDM Loop5 wheels, produced by Work Wheels Japan…  MK2 Jetta powering out of a turn…  To give you guys a glimpse of Kazuhiro’s driving abilities, check out the onboard video from his E-AT Civic below. I don’t know which session this was but he actually gets hit by the Craft-A coupe but manages to still finish the session… The guy definitely doesn’t hold back, haha…  A still of Furakawa…  Kazuhiro following closely on Miyata’s tail…  The imposing face of the Burn-Up NSX…  Would have been cool to see some on-board video of this thing in action…  The Rocket Bunny Scion FR-S made an appearance…  Toyota Aristo with TTE front lip and Work Gnosis GS3…   A better look at the Volkswagen Golf and its naked engine bay…  Another NSX, this one a newer NA2 model on Volk TE37s…  Two generations of Corolla, the classic TE72 on the left and Masaru MSR Tanaka’s AE111 Corolla that has been cut-up and converted to U.S. specifications…  One of my favorite Japanese builds is Yasuhiro Hashiba’s Toyota GX81 sedan that has been converted to resemble a U.S. Cressida and features a 1JZ-GTE turbo motor… He often splits time between this Rotiform wheels and white Volk TE37s…  Beautiful E46 M3 on polished Rotiform TMBs….  The OsakaJDM E-AT back on the trailer. You can see the damage from when the Craft-A coupe hit it along the side…  OsakaJDM’s other Honda at Track and Show, an EF9 Civic hatchback also seated on Loop5 wheels…  A close-up of the front end damage on the EG Civic…  Rainfall increased towards the end of the day…   Two more of Hashiba’s GX81…note the U.S. license plate…  No hood, no care as rain drenched the engine bay of the VW Golf…  OsakaJDM’s EF9 heading out of Fuji Speedway…  Interesting EF8 CR-X that pulled up next to Kohei’s Integra…    It’s a little rough around the edges but it has an interesting look to it, especially with the aggressive front stagger. The name of the wheels elude me right now but I suspect them to be Work Emotion 11Rs. In the rear are SSR MK2 wheels. Also notice the center-exit exhaust…  Clean MK2 Golf on BBS wheels…  Mori-san captured this shot while driving home from Track and Show….
